Guide to Mailer Scorecard
Formerly Streamlined Mail Acceptance for Letters and Flats Reporting Guide
The Postal Service provides mailers with access to a mail quality tool, the Mailer Scorecard, which displays a dashboard view of the results of the letter and flat mailing activity within each of these initiatives over a calendar month. This view is available to both the mailer who submitted the electronic documentation for the mailing (eDoc submitter) and the mail owner.

Certified Mail®
Certified Mail is an extra service that provides the sender with a mailing receipt, tracking history, and, upon request, electronic verification that a mail piece was delivered or that a delivery attempt was made. Certified Mail can be used with both First-Class and Priority Mail, and items sent with this extra service are dispatched and handled in transit as ordinary mail. This guide provides an explanation of the product, the different types of Certified Mailings, and instructions for preparing Certified Mail.

Guide to Move Update
The Move Update standard is a means of reducing the number of mailpieces in a mailing that require forwarding or return by the periodic matching of a mailer’s address records with change-of-address orders received and maintained by the Postal Service. Mailers who claim First-Class Mail presorted or automation prices and USPS Marketing Mail prices must demonstrate that they have updated their mailing list within 95 days before the mailing date.
