Bulk Parcel Return Service
Bulk parcel return service (BPRS) allows mailers of large quantities of Standard Mail machinable parcels that are either undeliverable-as-addressed or opened and remailed by addressees to be returned to designated postal facilities.
Bulk Proof of Delivery Program
The bulk proof of delivery program gives mailers the ability to receive signature proof of delivery records for applicable mailpieces without requesting them individually. This enhancement allows mailers to retain records longer than the Postal Service retention period and provides mailers a more efficient way to handle signature records.
Electronic Verification System (eVS®)
The Electronic Verification System (eVS®) enables parcel mailers to submit documentation and pay postage by transmitting electronic manifest files to the eVS database.
Intelligent Mail® Package Barcode (IMpb)
IMpb provides piece-level data to enable the Postal Service to increase efficiency, add value to its package product line, and enhance its package tracking capabilities.
Package Intercept®
Commercial USPS Package Intercept is available through Business Customer Gateway.
Package Platform Concept (PPC)
USPS is developing a new payment and verification platform for outbound packages and current Electronic Verification System (eVS®) customers, called Package Platform. This new platform will provide upgrades to reporting, pricing and visibility as packages move through the mail stream.
Product Tracking and Reporting (PTR)
Product Tracking and Reporting (PTR) is the database that stores tracking scan data for all barcoded packages and extra services products.
Shipper Paid Services
Shipper Paid Services is an ACS fulfillment option that allows parcel mailers to receive an electronic address correction and pay forwarding or return postage via their ACS account rather than charging the customer.
USPS Returns
USPS has developed a new verification and payment method for Merchandise Returns Services (MRS) USPS and Scan Based Payment (SBP) customers, called USPS Returns. The current MRS process pose challenges such as reliance on sampling, lack of package-level pricing details, lack of visibility when a returned package travels through the mail stream, and packages held at postage due units before being returned to traditional verification customers. While SBP has limited capabilities for single-piece attribute-based pricing.
