What is Delivery Statistics Product?
Delivery Statistics Product contains information regarding delivery by carrier route and Post Office box section. This data file defines the number of post office boxes and business/residential deliveries on city, rural, and highway contract routes for every non-unique ZIP Code™ in the nation. This product contains raw data and does not contain any software. It is available through Electronic Product Fulfillment (EPF).
Delivery Statistics products contain the following key fields: Municipality City State Key and Preferred Last Line City State Key.
These keys provide users the ability to access additional information on any record information such as the Postal Service™ preferred last line (city/state name) for a particular address range. For example, if you wish to obtain the preferred last-line name for a particular ZIP+4 record, complete the following steps: (this will require the ZIP + 4 Product)
- Obtain the Preferred Last Line City State Key value from the ZIP+4 record.
- Match the Preferred Last Line City State Key of the ZIP+4 record to the City State Key in the City State product.
- In the matching City State product record, the City State Name field will contain the preferred last-line name (follow CASS rules) as defined in the CASS™ Technical Guide.
