eVS to USPS Ship Migration Tech Sheet
The Postal Service is retiring the electronic verification system (eVS). eVS customers must migrate to USPS Ship or USPS APIs by February 2025. This includes customers using Premium Forwarding Services Commercial (PFSC) and Click N Ship BusinessPro (CNBPro). This document outlines the differences between the two platforms and steps to migrate from eVS to USPS Ship.

Service Standard Platform File Layout
The Postal Service is looking to move ahead with service standard changes to support Delivering for America network changes. We intend to continue providing service standard data files for customer use to determine the number of days in transit. This tech sheet will provide the current and future proposed file layouts to help customers understand upcoming changes associated with the proposed changes.

Trailing Edge Die-Cut (TED-C) Automation Letters Instructional Video
PCSC Manager - Mail Classification Stephanie Padilla and PCSC Manager - National Customer Rulings Juan Tosado have collaborated to provide mailers with an overview of Trailing Edge Die-Cut (TED-C) Adutomation Letters requirements, including a demonstration of how to correctly use the TED-C Letters Template to verify that a sample TED-C letter will qualify for automation prices.

Certified Mail®
Certified Mail is an extra service that provides the sender with a mailing receipt, tracking history, and, upon request, electronic verification that a mail piece was delivered or that a delivery attempt was made. Certified Mail can be used with both First-Class and Priority Mail, and items sent with this extra service are dispatched and handled in transit as ordinary mail.
